Stacey Allen is a Counsel in the firm’s Technology Transactions Practice Group. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with complex commercial agreements and other related transactional matters. She represents both emerging and established companies in a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, and energy.
Stacey has extensive experience in the structuring, drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements, including technology licensing and services agreements, platform terms of service, reseller and referral agreements, and data licensing and use agreements. She advises clients with respect to complex and evolving transactional issues, including privacy matters and the use of AI and its implications on online services. Stacey’s broad experience allows her to work closely with and assist clients in navigating both their complex and day-to-day legal needs.
Stacey began her legal career at Dorsey & Whitney in its Salt Lake City office, where she gained broad experience in Dorsey’s corporate, energy and natural resources, and bankruptcy practice groups.
Stacey received her law degree from Brigham Young University, where she also received an MBA in finance. Stacey was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and enjoys returning home with her children and dog as often as possible.
