Gina Betts is a Partner with a practice focused on venture capital and general corporate matters with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. She advises emerging companies, investors, and established businesses on a broad range of strategic transactions and corporate governance matters.
Gina represents clients across a diverse set of industries including manufacturing, health optimization, consumer products, manufactured and modular housing, medical devices, beauty and fashion. Her cross -industry experience enables her to deliver practical, business-oriented advice tailored to each client’s specific market and stage of growth.
Her practice spans the full corporate lifecycle, including company formation, venture and growth financings, governance matters, and complex M&A transactions. Gina is known for her pragmatic approach, attention to detail and ability to guide clients efficiently through sophisticated transactions while keeping business objectives front and center.
Gina earned her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University where she was a published member of Law Review and won the award for Moot Court Best Brief. During law school, based upon academic performance, she was selected for, and participated in, internships at the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. She received her B.A, from Southern Methodist University where she triple majored in Russian Language, History and Political Science. While at SMU, she earned a scholarship to study in the former Soviet Union.
