Lisa Dunbar is a Legal Specialist in the Corporate Practice Group. She has over twenty years of experience working in the corporate law firm environment. She has been with VLP since 2011.
Lisa specializes in matters relating to corporate formation, governance and financing. She is experienced in matters such as the formation and qualification of business entities; preparation of board and stockholder minutes and consents; mergers and acquisitions; stock plan administration; issuance of securities and cap table maintenance; research on state and federal securities laws and preparation of securities filings.
Before joining VLP, Lisa was a Corporate and Securities paralegal at the Silicon Valley office of Gunderson Dettmer South Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. Prior to that, she worked as a paralegal in the Corporate group of Carr & Ferrell LLP, also located in Silicon Valley. Lisa has a background in engineering, and before entering the legal field she worked in the automotive and aerospace industries.
